Inhale Exhale - Sober Expectation

Thank you for the emails, voicemail and text messages! It does my heart glad to know my writings have inspired and blessed you….Thank you!

It is amazing to watch children learn and adapt, grow and become their divine self! My son was 4 almost 5 when I started this blog now he is 6 almost 7...Time flies when you are having fun...LOL

As we do this time of year we've spent a lot of quality time together.  Yesterday a museum, almost everyday we try a different park and of course we read a book or two every day, arts, crafts, games and more. Still full of questions... has a little more concerns than a couple of years ago (technology and the world at large breeds that) but yet very innocent.

We arise every morning as we've done with "Good morning sunshine", periodically he yet says "Wow mama I think I grew an inch last night or I got some good old fashion sleep!" my son.

"….and a child will shall lead them" Isaiah 11:6

We learn many lessons from children…There are three big lessons my child has taught me "Forgiveness" he and his cousins, friends can have a falling out and a few minuets later they are back playing. "Letting go of mistakes" is another...he always says..."It's okay mama everybody makes mistakes." Finally, is growth, we do not always see the growth process, but we know it is happening.  Watching him get taller, his teeth fall out and new ones come in, his vocabulary and knowledge expand has taught me as long as we are breathing we are growing.

My relationship with my son is if I give him my word...I make good on my word or I keep my word.  Somethings may take me a little longer than others but his expectations is "I can count on Mama!"

Expectation! Resting in Expectation! We do not see the actual physical growth, but it is happening every day. You know, it is just like gaining weight…We do not see it happening, we just go to put on something we wore last month and now it is tight and we are unable to button or zip up our cloths. How we grow is up to us. What we internalize, ingest, digest in our spiritual and physical diet has a great determination on how and what we will grow in.

Closing 2011 is very sobering. A lot of people are hurting. Functioning but hurting. Showing up in pain and discomfort and I'm talking more of spiritually and emotionally than physically.  Smiling and laughing but beyond a wound, in chronic distress.  2012 is the time for the truth! Coming from behind the smoke screen, intoxicated with false hope and expectations. Living sober un-intoxicated with words of make believe turn-around. It is time to grow in the direction of bridled faith in the ultimate FAITH GIVER. It is now time to walk in SOBER EXPECTATIONS.  Not drunk with false humility and fraudulent dreams of a better life when the life given has not been matured. Living out Loud your DIVINE TRUTH! The stage is set, ears are open, hearts are ready "2012 is the time for truth!"

Blessings and grace
